From Splash to Blast. And most truly we all had a blast during our recently concluded Mayad Academy Singapore. It was beyond our wildest dreams to have 56 of the most talented and creative videographers all in our room having the same goal.. and that is to learn and of course have fun. We had participants all over the world like Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan,Macau, Hongkong, Guam,Australia,China and Dubai.
To top it off, some were first timers in Singapore; and others were repeaters who’ve been in our past three workshops, wasn’t that something? 🙂
We were fully packed bursting with eagerness and thirsty for more knowledge given by our respectable speakers namely Alvin Paver and Raphael Jamil Pranga of Mayad Studios, Sean Seah of Firewerks Films, Fauzee Nasir of Manggis and Oly Ruiz of Metrophoto. And so, it is with much love that we present to you this short highlight video we made for them that was shown during the graduation dinner on the last day.
It was a humbling and worthwhile experience. We also give our thanks to our awesome sponsors; Triple Scoop, Cathay Photo, and Canon who gave their support in making this event possible; and to The Wedding Cinematographers Guild of Singapore, you guys made this event a smashing success! We can say so far this is the biggest and one of the best workshop up to date! We can’t wait for next year! 🙂
